The Rolf Method of Structural Integration

What is it?

The Rolf Method of Structural Integration is a process of educating the body through movement and touch, the goal is to organize the body around its own internal line so that the segments of the body, — the feet, lower legs, pelvis, abdomen, thorax and head are aligned with each other within the gravity field.  This process teaches the body to move from its core.

Who needs it?

Athletes, dancers, business people, anyone with a body at any stage of life who has experiences of pain or stress.  People from all walks of life and all ages come to Structural Integration not only for relief from their pain and stress, but also for improved performance in their professions and physical activities.

How does it work?

Structural Integration works with connective tissue otherwise known as the myofacial system.  Connective tissue is the support system of our body, all of the major systems of the body-  circulatory, digestive, nervous, musculoskeletal, and organ are ensheathed in connective tissue.
